「Yes I Can我做得到」研究計劃

香港中文大學心理學系與AXA 安盛及牛津大學分支機構Oxford VR正合作進行 「Yes I Can我做得到」研究計劃,此計劃旨在探討我們的新款虛擬實景(Virtual Reality)程式能否減少社交迴避 (Social Avoidance), 讓程式使用者在社交場合感到更自在。

 

‘Yes I Can’ program, which is a tripartite collaboration among The Chinese University of Hong Kong, AXA Insurance and Oxford VR, examines the effectiveness of our new Virtual Reality (VR) therapy targeting social avoidance and investigates the application of VR technology in the realm of mental health services.

你在日常社交生活中感到焦慮嗎?

跟陌生人或不相熟的人接觸時會感到吃力嗎?

在社交場合感到極不自在?

 

 

對象:

- 填妥參加表格及問卷,並被篩選為合適參與計劃的人士

- 於報名參加計劃時年滿18歲

- 具備基本閱讀及書寫中文的能力

- 能理解廣東話

- 並非光敏感性癲癇症(photosensitive epilepsy) 患者

- 沒有嚴重的聽覺、視覺或平衡問題

- 能夠出席所有(共4次)於研究地點 [ theDesk統一中心. 香港金鐘金鐘道95號統一中心5樓 ]以廣東話進行的會面及虛擬實景環節

- 未曾參與過此研究

註: 此計劃並不適合正在接受社交迴避治療的人士。

 

 

[ 研究詳情 ] 

 

此研究計劃包含4次會面及虛擬實景環節,合資格的參加者將獲邀在每節虛擬實景環節及在計劃不同階段(治療前、治療後、一個月跟進)填寫問卷。 首250名完成所有會面、治療及問卷的參加者將獲得港幣300元答謝金。

[Invitation to Participate in ‘Yes I Can’ Virtual Reality (VR) Intervention Research for Reducing Social Avoidance]

feel intensely uncomfortable in everyday social situations.

am fear of interacting with strangers.

wish to assuage feelings of anxiety triggered by social situations.

 

If the above depictions aptly describe your present circumstances, you are cordially invited to participate in the ‘Yes I Can’ project to see if our study enables you to feel more at ease during social encounters.

 

Target participants :

 

- Complete the registration questionnaire and be found suitable

- Be 18 or over at the date of your registration

- Be able to read and write in Chinese

- Understand spoken Cantonese

- Not suffer from photosensitive epilepsy

- Not have significant issues hearing, seeing, or with balance

- Be able to travel to our VR office (theDesk, United Centre, 5/F, 95 Queensway, Admiralty) for each session

 

Note: Individuals who are currently receiving treatment for social avoidance are not suitable for the trial

 

[Details of Study]

 

Eligible individuals will be invited to attend a total of 4 appointments (i.e. 1 initial appointment and 3 VR therapy sessions) conducted in Cantonese and complete questionnaires at each VR sessions and at three time points (pre-, post- intervention and one-month follow up).

 

The first 250 participants completing all elements of the study will be reimbursed with HKD $300.
