My interest in providing mental health support for the community has continued after obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Psychology at the Chinese University of Hong Kong. I have founded a social enterprise named Grief Me Light, which aims to support grieving people, especially the underprivileged, psychologically by sharing life-death education on social media and organizing various physical activities. From this experience, I discovered my passion in investigating how people make meaning while experiencing loss.
My previous experience as an online coach at the Jockey Club TourHeart+ Project and intern in the CPU at Social Welfare Department provide me with more practical knowledge and hands-on experience in understanding the community’s mental health needs and providing psychoeducation.
Research Interest: Meaning-making process, sense of loss, grief, mindfulness, mental health stigma
