Dr. Rita Law

I am a postdoctoral fellow in the Diversity and Well-Being Laboratory. Upon obtaining a B.S.Sc. and an M.Phil. from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, I received training in clinical psychology at The University of Arizona and graduated with a Ph.D. in psychology in 2011. My research interests revolve around how loving-kindness, compassion, mindfulness, and Buddhist teachings may affect wellbeing and the psychophysiological mechanisms behind these effects. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, watching movies, swimming, hiking, and traveling to exotic places.
