Bio:
I am a final-year psychology undergraduate at CUHK. Growing up in such a stratified society, I have witnessed the impact of wealth and status on one's emotions, thoughts and behaviors. My experience led me to believe that the nature of well-being is innately social - with constant struggles on power, relations and purposes - and therefore should be approached in a holistic and communal manner. Currently, I am interested in how one's socioeconomic status (and class) would affect their well-being, how would they address such phenomenon and the alternative channels for one to mediate and compensate such effects, with mattering as one of the fascinating concepts I would like to explore on.
