Bio:

I am currently a final year undergraduate at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The last few years that I have spent in the psychology undergraduate programme has had a genuine impact on my perception of mental health and mental illness, reshaping my view on how people can be affected by mental illness and its concomitant problems like mental health stigma. By fate (or by chance), I have come across the Buddhist psychology concepts, and together with my interest in motivation, I was offered a new perspective into the interaction between intra- and interpersonal development. These changes have also fostered my belief that the majority of us, mentally healthy individuals, can and should do more to promote the wellbeing of the underprivileged and society in general, which serves as my goal in research and practice.

Research interest:

Motivation; Interconnectedness; Prosociality; Mental health stigma; Mindfulness
