Public mental health, community psychology, cultural diversity, mental health promotion, and recovery of mental illness.

 

Bio

Ellery is a clinical psychologist. She completed both her BSSc in Psychology and MSSc in Clinical Psychology in the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She finished her undergraduate thesis on acculturation of mainland Chinese university students in Hong Kong and her master thesis on recovery of severe mental illness of service users in the community under Dr. Winnie Mak’s supervision. Upon graduation, she voluntarily joined a 3- month internship program at the World Health Organization in Geneva on mental health policy and service development.
