Having worked in the corporate world, I witnessed how mental health had been deemphasized under the fast-paced, competitive culture. People's emotions are suppressed and unattended, maybe even considered as counter-productive when it comes to delivering results at workplace. I hope to partake in making a paradigm shift in the society, leading me to the field of Psychology and joining the Team. Psychology is applicable to all and underpins every aspect of daily life. I am passionate about promoting mental health awareness and making mental health services accessible to many. I would also love to learn about the development of tech-based services, which can reduce the barriers and costs of help-seeking as well as service-providing. Hence, psychological services can be delivered to a wider community in a cost-effective manner. I am excited to see how our team can make impact across different settings through various entry points including corporate programmes and online platforms.
