Earlier studies have consistently documented sexual orientation disparities in mental health, with lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) individuals being at greater risk of poor mental health than cisgender heterosexual individuals. This study aimed to examine mental health of LGBT individuals in Hong Kong and identify protective and risk factors that contribute to their mental health outcomes.

 

過去研究文獻明確發現性傾向相關的心理健康差距。相較於順性別異性戀的人士而言，女同性戀者、男同性戀者、雙性戀者與跨性別者（LGBT人士）心理健康欠佳的風險更大。本研究旨在探討香港LGBT人士的心理健康，並分析影響其心理健康的保護性及風險性因素。
